Gooey, messy soap.  On the sink counter, in the soap dish, on the shower bench... doesn't exist in the SoapStandle world. The goo forms when soap stays wet. The portion that doesn't dry turns to goo... it's slimy, gets on everything, and is hard to wipe off. But SoapStandle allows the soap to 'shed' water and dry, so the goo never develops.  Avoiding the goo is important beyond that it’s messy – when goo develops soap deteriorates faster, and instead of cleaning it goes down the drain.
